Please note: Buffet will be served by the Jackson Center. If you have special dietary requests, please list it when checking out so we can be sure to remit your meal ticket the Jackson Center so you will have a separate plated meal.

Join us Thursday, April 11th at 11:30 am as we hear from Van Strickland as he shares The Power of Diversity in the Success of NASA’s Programming.

Van L. Strickland is currently serving as the manager of the Space Launch System (SLS) Program Operations and Strategic Communications office at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Before joining the SLS Program, Mr. Strickland worked at NASA Headquarters in Washington, D. C. as a review manager in the Independent Program Assessment Office. He has also served as Chief Safety & Mission Assurance (SMA) Officer for the Ares I Vehicle Integration Office at NASA’s Marshall Center. Mr. Strickland actively participates in community service projects throughout Madison County and Alabama, including serving on the Delta Theta Lambda Education Foundation, the J.F. Drake State Community & Technical College Foundation Board and the Union Chapel Christian Academy Foundation Board. Mr. Strickland and his wife, Rosalynne, are the proud parents of two children, Lauren and Miles.
