Please join WEDC on Thursday, April 10, 2025, for our monthly luncheon hosted by the WEDC Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) committee. The April luncheon, entitled "How Community Engagement Makes Us All Better", will feature Kenny Anderson, a nationally certified counselor, and Dr. Randy Barbour, Multicultural Affairs Director for the City of Huntsville.

About Kenny Anderson
Kenny Anderson is a nationally certified counselor with over forty years of experience in the mental health profession. In 2013, Kenny was appointed Multicultural Affairs Officer and then Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for the City of Huntsville by Mayor Battle after spending 16 years at Calhoun Community College, most recently as Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences. He retired in October 2024. Kenneth is a community bridge builder committed to the work of creating alliances across multiple dimensions.
About Randy Barbour
Dr. Randy Barbour, Jr. is a Huntsville, AL native and the Director of Multicultural Affairs for the City of Huntsville. Appointed in January 2025, he leads initiatives to promote inclusivity, civic engagement, and community empowerment. Previously, Dr. Barbour was an assistant professor of psychology at Alabama A&M University. Dr. Barbour and his wife, Danielle, are expecting their first child in April 2025.
