WEDC Annual Retreat Weekend at the Lake

The WEDC Connecting Committee is proud to bring back the WEDC Annual Retreat! Come enjoy a Weekend at the Lake with your WEDC Sisters. Get to know each other on a deeper level, participate in team building activities, hear stories on overcoming adversity, and most importantly - have fun in the sun!

We are offering two registration types: a weekender participant will plan to stay the entire weekend from Friday to Sunday and a day camper participant will join just for the day on Saturday. *Carpooling is a must as there is limited parking.

Once registration is closed, an email with detailed instructions for the weekend and meetup will be sent to each registrant.

6:30 PM Dinner at Odette
9:00 PM Relax at the Lake

Saturday
7:00 AM Walk or Yoga
8:00 AM Morning Session:Overcoming Adversity - Helen Keller & Tom's Wall
Continental Breakfast
9:00 AM Day Camper Participants – Carpool Meetup from Madison
10:00 AM Day Participants Arrive / Introductions
10:30 AM Teambuilding
11:30AM Break
11:45 AM Lunch Session: The Thumbprint We Leave – Her Story
12:45 Enjoy the Lake!
Activities: swimming, kayaking, games, and more
5:00 PM Dinner at the Lake House
6:30 PM Day Participants Depart
7:00 PM Game Night at the Lake

10:00 AM Breakfast at Superhero Chefs in Tuscumbia (Kim Lewis’ Restaurant)

11:30 AM Additional Optional Excursion: Dismals Canyon Hike or Tom’s Wall
