Began career with McDonnell Douglas (MDAC), supporting the Space Lab Missions.  MDAC loaned me to UW of Madison Co.to help with the campaign and I fell in love with non-profit work. Soon after, I was hired at UW and remained on staff for 15 yrs. I left UW to continue fundraising career with The American Red Cross, Ability Plus & EarlyWorks.  In Oct. 2014, I rejoined the UW team as the Dir. of Development for another 8 years, celebrating 34 total years in fundraising. I started my own business, Creative Consulting by Claudia, LLC, Leading with Effective Strategies, Producing Positive Results.  My husband Joe, of 42 years and I live in the home we built in East Limestone 38 years ago with our 4 cats and three dogs (for now).  We rescue so that # fluctuates frequently!! I am involved in several community organizations: WEDC, and I hold an ACE group fitness instructor certification for the past 37 yrs. I am a proud God Mom to William, 12 and Charlie, 10 and Lucy, 5 years old, and Betsy 2.
