Began career with McDonnell Douglas (MDAC), supporting the Space Lab Missions.  MDAC loaned me to UW of Madison Co.to help with the campaign and I fell in love with non-profit work. Soon after, I was hired at UW and remained on staff for 15 yrs. I left UW to continue fundraising career with The American Red Cross, Ability Plus & EarlyWorks.  In Oct. 2014, I rejoined the UW team as the Dir. of Develop. & just celebrated 34 years in fundraising. My husband Joe, of 39 years and I live in the home we built in East Limestone 35 years ago with our 6 cats and two dogs (for now).  We rescue so that # fluctuates frequently!! I am involved in several community organizations: WEDC, Hsv. Rotary, Crestwood Women’s Advisory Council, Board Member of the Veterinary Clinical Research Hospital, Decatur, AL, and I hold an ACE group fitness instructor certification for the past 34 yrs. I am a proud God Mom to William, 10, and Charlie, 7, and Lucy, 3 years old.
