About

Belinda A. Savage-Edwards, MD is a board-certified Neurologist, Electromyographer, and Headache Medicine Specialist.  She is a graduate of Michigan State University and The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.  Dr. Savage-Edwards is a published author and serves on several local and national committees.  She was selected as an Alabama Delegate to represent the American Academy of Neurology on Capitol Hill in Washington DC to advocate on behalf of all neurology patients.  Dr. Savage-Edwards is the Principal Investigator for numerous adult and pediatric clinical trials. In addition, she is an Ambassador for the Research Matters for All of Us Initiative which is a collaboration between the Delta Research and Educational Foundation and the National Institutes for Health.  She  is a speaker for several Pharmaceutical Speaker Bureaus, including Lilly, Abbvie and Biohaven.  Dr. Savage-Edwards uses her Neurology practice as a vehicle to teach the importance of a healthy lifestyle in preventing and treating such diseases as migraine headaches, strokes, memory disorders and certain autoimmune diseases.  Dr. Savage-Edwards is married to Dr. Ted Edwards, an Interventional Pain Specialist, and they have four beautiful children.
