Dr. Gohanna has extensive leadership experience as a department chair, a regional accreditation specialist, and an advocate for students and faculty. Her areas of expertise include online course and curricular design, faculty professional development, leadership in higher education, and promoting a diverse, equitable, and inclusive instructional pedagogy.  She currently serves as the Quality Enhancement Director and Composition Department Chair at Calhoun Community College, Huntsville Campus. She has been an educator, mentor, and scholar for over 23 years. She has a Ph.D. in Reading from Alabama A & M University.
